Hillside Hideaway is a 2-bedroom vacation rental home on the island of Oahu, Hawaii. Located just 10 minutes from downtown Honolulu and 15 minutes from Waikiki, the Hideaway is an ideal location for vacationers looking for a fully-equipped home and a quiet, laid-back residential experience.
Scenic and serene, the surrounding area of Round Top/Tantalus is lush and green, with a winding mountain road, clean, fresh air and gorgeous sunsets. Several hiking trails are easily accessible via a short drive up the hill. A 7-mile stretch of Tantalus/Round Top Drive has even been added to the National Register of Historic Places. During your stay here, you might even catch a glimpse of the beautiful green parrots we occasionally see flying around!

Hillside Hideaway is a two-bedroom home with peekaboo views of Honolulu and the Pacific Ocean from the living area and master bedroom. The house sleeps 6 (two queen-size beds and one queen sleeper sofa). The living area and master bedroom are air-conditioned and have ceiling fans; the second bedroom has a ceiling fan and a table fan.
The full kitchen is equipped with a refrigerator/freezer, oven, stove, microwave, coffee maker, tea pot, toaster, blender, dishes, glassware, utensils, a spice rack, and all the kitchen tools you need. We provide a 1-day supply of coffee, sugar, sweetener and creamer to get you started in case you arrive late and don’t get a chance to stop at the grocery store.
The living room and both bedrooms have flat-screen tvs; the living room also has a stereo, cd player and dvd player. You’ll also find playing cards, kids’ card games, and a couple of stacks of books for beach reads and rainy days.
The property has a hot tub that’s shared with the property managers. It’s underneath a gazebo so you can even use it in the rain! Outside you’ll also find a patio table and seating for 6, a washer and dryer with laundry detergent, and covered parking for one vehicle. We also provide beach towels and 2 beach chairs for your seaside excursions.

about the property managers
We’re a young professional couple living right next door (our house adjoins the Hideaway and we share an entrance hallway). We work from home, so we’re usually available and accessible if you have questions or requests during your stay. We’re quiet and private so we’ll leave you alone to enjoy your stay unless you need us! Learn more about us here.
